Christine,
Shame on you for wanting to receive glory. What a critical spirit
dwells within you? Where is your relationship with Christ to want such a
“holy huddle” of believers to condemn those who are seeking a real Savior.
He did not come to condemn–do I “need” to quote you the verse to
believe? Wake up and see the truth of Scripture. God as my witness…sinners
“need” Jesus and you aren’t any better than they are in “needing” to
reach the “needy”. For heaven’s sake what are you doing with all your
“churchy” talk of the “church” world to reach others? Can you forgive as
Christ has forgiven you? Do you “need” a quote to believe you do? This is a
real world we are dealing with here, so let me suggest you return to your
secure “holy huddle” for strength instead of Christ Himself.
I am a believer in what Stonecroft is doing to promote the growth of
authentic relationships….those leaders who don’t go along with the
guidelines are just members of “holy huddles” who are seeking their
own comfort zones. Jesus went out….

Dear ————-,
Glad you are taking the time to read the website and consider the information. I understand it’s difficult as I know what it is like to love a ministry. Hopefully the site challenges you to thoroughly study God’s precious scriptures.
I’m not sure what a holy huddle is? or authentic relationships? Keep in mind that man shall not live by bread alone but by EVERY word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matt 4:4, Luke 4:4 If the holy huddle or authentic relationships is not in scripture, it’s man made and not of God.
You are correct. Jesus didn’t COME to condemn. He came to die on the cross to save people. Why? Because people where condemned ALREADY with the wrath of God abiding on them. Be careful to read the entire context of the scriptures…
“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:18 “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” John 3:36 KJV
Also, make sure you judge according to the scriptures and not your own opinion. You certainly don’t want to be in the position of judging against God’s law and those share it with others.“Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of [his] brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.” James 4:11 KJB

Christine,
How are you approaching the non-believer so they will find the Word and find your testimony true? The Stonecroft approach reaches out to those who are seeking and your little inserts from former leaders reflect a religion rather than a relationship emphasis. So how does your approach to the sinner any different from the Pharisees?

Dear ————,
Study the Pharisees and you will find they put their own laws over God’s laws. They did not obey the scriptures, that is why Jesus repeatedly asked them “have ye not read?” and then he would quote scriptures. The scriptures were a buffet to the Pharisees. They picked and choosed from the scriptures and added their own teachings/laws.
In order to love the Lord with all thy heart, soul and strength, etc.
one must love what God says. Read Psalm 119 in the KJV.

How do we know the mind of God and love Him? How does He speak to us?
Through His words. By loving God’s word, you are loving Jesus who is the
Word!
Love in Christ,
Christine

Christine,
Thanks for the insight and message from the Word of God. Do you believe
He can speak to us through prayer and answer in life’s circumstances if one
cannot read the Bible? Does a person have to attend church in order to
get it? Where is the love of Christ when communication between two people is
hindered by the choice of wording in what Bible you read? Jesus met with
people where they were and how they could understand Him. Again, I ask
how are you approaching the sinner? Are you loving the sinner and hating the
sin and can the sinner tell the difference? Just food for thought. And
please don’t judge me according to a chapter and verse just ’cause…I’m
not impressed with your Bible knowledge, but appreciate your feedback and
concern for furthering the Kingdom as God has a purpose and a plan for
your destiny – and even before you were born! What a concept! I think you
understand without my quoting where it came from. Does that make me a
false witness. It can be found with a seeker – and in his/her own
language…maybe.

Dear ———————
My desire is to encourage you to trust the scriptures so here are some
challenging questions for you…
So is God lying when He states that man shall not live by bread alone but
by EVERY word that proceeds out of the mouth of God? Why did Jesus and
His deciples quote the Old Testament so much in the New Testament?
How do we know the mind of God and know His will? God says “For my
thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith
the LORD.” Isa 55:8 God says “Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye
children: for blessed [are they that] keep my ways.” Prov. 8:32
So how do we understand God’s ways? Can we choose and reject what “ways”
we are going to abide by? “He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my
words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same
(the word) shall judge him in the last day. John 14:48
Is God’s word subjective based on our feelings and experiences? Imagine
thinking the following:
“Well God, even though you provided the New Testament which is all about:
1. you establishing new testament churches through the great commission
you gave the disciples (Acts) and
2. you teaching your churches how to function so that believers can be
taught and continue with the great commission (1 Tim, 2 Tim and Titus) and
how believers are not to forsake the assembly… and
3. your commending and correcting the churches through the apostle Paul…
these things aren’t relevant these days so I’m going to ignore what you
say… even though you are the head of true bible believing churches.
Oh, one more thing God, since we don’t think every single one of your
words are important, we’ve changed what your words say in so many
translations (which is making us rich too). That way we can claim
ignorance and don’t have to obey what you say as well.
On the other hand, if I wrote a letter to my best friend with specific
commands and detailed directions on how to take care of my beautiful house
and my precious children while I’m away and yet she disregards my words,
even changes my words and claims she didn’t understand, I would be angry.
She thinks she can pick and choose what SHE wants to obey even if it means
my house is left in shambles and forsaken as well as my children. How
prideful on her part!
Hmmm.. something to think about?
